Like all Trekell premium synthetic brushes, Legion features a blend of varying filament diameters with carefully tapered tips that more closely mimic the performance of natural brush hair. This advanced filament construction provides excellent paint pickup, smooth paint flow, and responsive handling that cheaper synthetic brushes with uniform, blunt-cut filaments simply can't match.

What sets Legion apart is its proprietary chisel-shaped synthetic filament, engineered to replicate the spring, snap, and subtle texture of traditional mongoose hair. The result is a brush that moves paint with precision while still allowing for soft blending and controlled transitions, making it ideal for both oil and acrylic painting.

Each brush is made with our Thermyx™ filament. During manufacturing, the bristles are heat-set to create built-in shape memory that helps the brush maintain its structure, edge, and performance over time.

If the bristles begin to lose their shape, a quick dip in simmering water can help restore them closer to their original form. For best results, reshape the bristles while warm and allow them to dry in place. Applying Trekell Brush Restorer while the bristles dry will help the bristles hold their shape longer between painting sessions.
